Introducing ‘Tis The Season: Authors Talk Holidays Event & Schedule 2015

Hi everyone! Well, December is almost upon us and longtime readers of Pop! Goes The Reader will know what that means – ‘Tis The Season: Authors Talk Holidays is back!

What is ‘Tis The Season: Authors Talk Holidays, you ask? Keep reading to find out!

‘Tis The Season: Authors Talk Holidays is a special seasonal feature on Pop! Goes The Reader in which some of my favourite authors help me to celebrate the spirit of the season and spread a little holiday cheer. So, pour yourself a cup of hot chocolate and snuggle in by the fireside as they answer the question: “What does the holiday season mean to you?”

While I was absolutely certain that I wanted to hold ‘Tis The Season: Authors Talk Holidays again this year, what I never dreamt possible was the amazing, unexpected, overwhelming, humbling response I received from countless authors who were willing to share their time and their talent with me this holiday season. With thirty two participants – that’s one post for every single day in December! – there’s no doubt that ‘Tis The Season: Authors Talk Holidays is bigger, and better, than ever before. Best of all, ‘Tis The Season is more diverse and inclusive as well, with prospective posts about Christmas, Hanukkah, Chinese New Year, Winter Solstice, and New Years Eve. What was once a small event with a few of my dearest friends has grown beyond my wildest imaginings, and none of this would be possible without the thirty-two women and men listed below. I feel immensely blessed and unspeakable grateful and, having had the privilege of reading a number of the posts already, I can promise that you’re in for a treat!
